You will be located in Betzdorf (Luxembourg) working as a member of the Group Financial Controlling team, actively developing the SES Financial Control environment, as well as being a key contributor to the company’s business planning, budgeting and reporting .

You will report directly to the Vice President, Controlling & Budget Management and will work on a regular basis with the key stakeholders and senior leadership across SES.
Responsibilities

Planning, budgeting and actual reporting for departmental and company operating expenditure including
Marketing / Market communications and non-Satellite capex worldwide .

Key
interface to Business Applications function to continuously improve the quality of internal financial
processes and systems , as part of financial control environment, as well as
setup and development of planning tools for bottom-up / cost centre budget
process

Support
effective implementation of roles and responsibilities discharged by management
through financial policies ,
monitoring and reporting on compliance
to internal control policies and procedures.

Perform controlling activities , including cost
budgets and internal controls for the affiliates in scope of European companies.

Active
contact to Marketing to analyse and forecast Marketing cost

Support in
cost rationalization activities.

Perform special resource projects as required,
e.g. due diligence or affiliates reviews

Support day to day management of BTZ Controlling
activities, including coordinating analyst’s
contributions to core Financial Controlling processes

Experience / Qualifications

University
Degree in Finance with professional accounting qualification preferred;

At least 5 years working experience in Financial Controlling
or similar function in an international / multi-national business environment;

Strong analytical skills;

Track record in p roject
management;

Experience in financial planning,
budgeting and reporting;

Creativity to help drive process improvements and
also develop cost optimisation initiatives.

Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to
interact with management and employees in a

global organisation.

People
management skills

Experience in developing and enhancing financial ERP systems
(ideally SAP);

Fluency in
English. German and/or French is an asset.
